Lexi and Michael’s story began long before either of them realized they were writing the story of their future together. Raised in Lexington, Kentucky, they grew up side by side, attending the same schools from the age of four and sharing many of the same childhood memories, classrooms, and milestones along the way. Even then, their lives were quietly intertwined long before friendship turned into something deeper.

It was in middle school that their connection truly began to take shape. In seventh grade, Michael asked Lexi to be his girlfriend and took her to a University of Kentucky basketball game for their very first date — a moment that would become the beginning of a relationship rooted in both friendship and familiarity. Although life briefly led them in different directions, they found their way back to one another the summer before high school, and from that point forward, they have rarely spent a season apart.

Over the years, Lexi and Michael have grown up together through every stage of life. They shared four years of high school together before continuing their journey side by side at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where they spent another four years building not only their relationship, but the foundation of the life they would eventually create together. Through every chapter — the exciting, the challenging, the ordinary, and the unforgettable — they have remained one another’s constant.

Last summer, Michael proposed to Lexi at her family’s estate in Lexington, Kentucky, a place that holds some of their most meaningful memories together. It was a moment that felt both deeply personal and full circle, and made even more special knowing it is the very same place where they will now celebrate their wedding day surrounded by the people they love most. For them, there could be no more meaningful setting for the beginning of this next chapter.

Today, Lexi and Michael are building their life together in Coral Gables, Florida, where Michael works in real estate finance and Lexi attends the University of Miami School of Law. Alongside their two beloved cats, Tabasco and Lula, life is full, joyful, and always entertaining. Whether navigating new adventures, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying everyday life together, they remain deeply grateful for the years, memories, and unwavering support that have brought them to this moment.

Above all, Lexi and Michael feel incredibly thankful for the family and friends who have loved, encouraged, and supported them throughout every season of their journey. They cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter together, surrounded by the people who have been part of their story from the very beginning.
