Visit the Metropolitan Museum, and as a bonus, check out the rooftop which has one of the best views of Central Park and NYC! If weather permits, walk through Central Park and rent a row boat for a classic New York summer afternoon
Visit the Morgan Museum (J.P. Morgan's former home)
Visit Ellis Island and look for the name Paolo Mazze on the wall of honor. Michael's great-grandfather actually travelled through Ellis Island twice, and as a gift Michael and Alexia added his great-grandfather (and father's) name to the names engraved on the wall of honor.
See a Broadway or off-Broadway show. If you're not set on a specific seat or show, visit the TKTS booth in Times Square for steeply discounted same day or next-day tickets (see the TKTS website for a list of shows currently being offered)
See a comedy show at Comedy Cellar, or if the Comedy Cellar reservations are full, our personal favorite back-up, The Stand. For an off the beaten path Japanese comedy show, check out Batsu!
Walk along the High Line in Chelsea and visit Chelsea Market for snacks and shopping
